Around us is nature. Nature is just a six letter word easily pronounced, but its comprehension has remained a mystery. The flamingoes in the sky, the wildlife, the ocean, the vegetation, and of essence is the Spider. The spider is a very special creature with puzzling features; you would wonder how it brings forth its webs. A spider web comes from the spider’s silk, and the spider can weave different kinds of webs. A spider web does not only trap preys or unlucky predators, but it is used to preserve or store food for a spider. Even, the spider web aids the spider to hang right at the bottom; the spider web even settles on flowers, a telling sign that spiders love nature. Research shows that a spider web is likened to a steel plus it is very sticky and can even trap the spider if no care is taken. Let us talk about the cobwebs.
A cobweb is same as a spider web in the general sense. The difference between both of them is however slender and less preached. The cobweb is a spider web that takes the form of a prehistoric spiraling net. It is that old eyesore that has stayed for a long time and clearly is of no good anymore. I doubt greatly that the cobweb will retain its initial protein when still a SPIDER WEB. You know what we do to a cobweb? We eliminate it with a broom or its equivalent.
The cobweb is man’s problem. A habit becomes a cobweb when it is contrary to rightness and good behavior. We have one cobweb – everyone of us – someway, somehow, it is nothing unusual. The truth is we have many persons having a cobweb right on the face but have not even realised it. Some persons have realised it but are too interested in remaining in their state of eyesore. An eyesore is a step towards darkness – darkness being laziness, procrastination, ignorance, poverty ( the rest are in the book of Galatians). Attitude is what makes you attractive and not even beauty. Beauty encourages lust or actual love but with a great attitude, you are highly welcomed. Enough of the cliche I AM ONLY HUMAN, it is true that humans are not perfect but it is a robust untruth to say that humans do not change. While the cobweb cannot change from its dead state to its early beginning, attitude can be adjusted from the living dead state with a troll stench, to a much better state.
Sharing features with a spider is not bad at all, just that it should not include cobwebs. Let us look inwards and correct our inadequacies, let us work towards betterment of our being – even onto perfection. Smile often at a challenge, embrace pain and not a back out, meet that your friend for counseling, walk away after you overcome. But do this with the right attitude. What is your cobweb?
